Pacoima: The Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Traffic Detectives (VTD) are investigating a felony hit-and-run traffic collision that left a man in his 60's in critical condition. On February 12, 2025, around 11:05 p.m., a white pick-up truck was traveling northbound Laurel Canyon Boulevard from Terra Bella Street when it struck a pedestrian near the crosswalk. The driver of the white truck continued northbound Laurel Canyon Boulevard, fleeing from the scene, failing to identify self or render aid as required by law. The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital in critical condition. His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification. VTD Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward with any information regarding this felony
