The Cambridge Police Department is investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred on May 17, 2024. At approximately 9:18pm, police responded to the Cambridgepark Drive area for an assault in progress. The victim told officers the assailant was a masked man with a knife. Detectives are processing a crime scene in a restroom of a commercial building, and are working with Massachusetts State Police to identify and search for a suspect. The Middlesex District Attorneys Office has been notified.
